Everything was so good! The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. Everything was fresh and hot. The nem cuon was good and the sauce it came with was different than other places but still very good! The seafood banh cuon and the combo plate were both yummy! We liked everything that came with it. The banh beo was also very good it reminded me of the banh beo from Orange County with the shredded pork on top. Vibe was a typical Viet restaurant! 10/10 would recommend

I have been at Banh Cuon Tay Ho's original restaurant in Southern California (in Little Saigon - Westminster, CA), having grown up near there. Back then (and currently), this was one of the top spots to get fresh banh cuon (steamed rice roll/crepe sheets). I was craving this dish and really happy to discover they had a branch nearby in San Jose (the NorCal Little Saigon). Stopped in to get their special combo signature dish, Banh Cuon Tay Ho Dac Biet ($15.50), and it did not disappoint. Rice rolls/crepes were perfectly thin with a nice chew, which easily soaked up the nuoc cham/mam fish sauce that is typically poured over. I liked that they had the fish sauce in an enclosed glass pitcher/carafe at each table so you could portion out how much you'd like. Portion size is hearty enough for 1 as entree, yet 2 to 4 can probably share as an appetizer. Their menu consists of mostly banh cuon and banh day variations in both meat and vegetarian options. They have some Vietnamese noodle dish soups and rice dishes too, but why pass up the chance trying the dish/specialty they're named and known for? All in all, my belly and tastebuds left here happy. Restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with ample parking.

I usually do not go to spots if I do not know the menu but thank god for my Vietnamese co-workers as they prepped me in advance so I knew exactly what I was ordering. I was sold after reviewing the menu and seeing Banh Cuon Nhan Thit (the mushroom roll spoke to me). This dish consisted of ground pork & mushroom rolls, ham, and a sweet potato fritter. It was light and fulfilling at the same time. The restaurant itself was packed for lunch but moved fairly quickly. The staff was also quick to push dishes out. All in all, I enjoyed my dish and will likely be back for more!

First off this is the only bánh cuốn spot that was open at 10 AM on a Tuesday. In fact this place opens at 8:30am! In Vietnam, you can find bánh cuốn for breakfast or lunch. This really reminds me of being in Vietnam. For those who are new to this, it's soft thin rice rolls that are wrapped in pork, shrimp or plain. I ordered the đặc biệt (special #1) with all meat. Then it's topped with lettuce, cucumber, cooked bean sprouts, herbs, chả lụa (pork patty), my fav nem chua (fermented pork), fried yam, fried shrimp and bean cake then topped with crispy shallots. Pour your special fish sauce called nước chấm over it or be like me and just have it aside to use as a dip. I like it this way because it's not too salty, and nothing gets soggy. - Parking - 3/5 It can get a bit tough because of the supermarket. - Seating - 4/5 Fits about 35 people. Not good for large parties. - Service - 5/5 Food came out in five minutes. Employees were really friendly and even gave me a cup of tea togo even though I didn't ask for it. **Special notes** By the way, their tea is really really good. Not sure what it is but I need to ask the owner next time because it's so different but taste so mild.
